1、 Structure and purpose
The SN series indoor fire hydrant is a product designed according to the GB3445-2005 "Indoor Fire Hydrants" standard. It is an interface with valves that supplies water to the fire scene through the indoor pipeline network. It is usually installed in the fire hydrant box and used in conjunction with fire hoses, fire water guns, and other equipment. It has the characteristics of easy use, speed, and high efficiency. Suitable for indoor fixed fire-fighting facilities in factory warehouses, high-rise buildings, public buildings, and ships. SNW65-III pressure reducing and stabilizing fire hydrant can effectively reduce the pressure and flow at the hydrant mouth, and can automatically adjust when the pipeline network fluctuates to maintain pressure stability; Ensure that the inlet pressure is between 0.4-1.6Mpa, the outlet pressure is maintained at around 0.3Mpa, and the flow rate is greater than 5L/S.
2、 Working principle
Rotate the handwheel to drive the valve disc through the valve stem. Turning clockwise will close, while turning counterclockwise will open.

5、 Usage method
Indoor fire hydrants are installed in prominent fire cabinets in buildings and are used in conjunction with fire hoses and water guns. When encountering a fire alarm, quickly open the fire hydrant box, take out the water hose and water gun, connect one end of the water hose to the fire hydrant and the other end to the water gun, and then turn the fire hydrant handwheel in the opening direction to spray water to extinguish the fire.
6、 Installation requirements
1. The installation unit should have a qualification certificate and can install according to the requirements of the "Water Supply and Drainage Standard Atlas".
2. During installation, pay attention to the direction of the water outlet to facilitate the installation of the water hose and ensure smooth water flow. It is best to connect the water gun, hose, and indoor fire hydrant together in advance, so that water can quickly come out when extinguishing the fire.
3. Indoor fire hydrants are usually closed, and after installation, a water pressure test is conducted according to regulations, with a pressure of 2.4MPa.
7、 Maintenance and upkeep
During transportation and loading/unloading, indoor fire hydrants should be protected from rain, collisions, and heavy pressure.
2. Indoor fire hydrants should be stored indoors in a dry and ventilated area to prevent moisture, and should not be inverted or exposed to corrosive gases.
3. Indoor fire hydrants should be regularly checked for integrity, rust, water leakage, and the completeness of interface gaskets.
4. Lubricating oil should be regularly added to the valve stem to prevent rusting of the threaded rod.
5. Regularly conduct water discharge inspections to ensure that it can be opened freely in emergency situations without affecting fire extinguishing.
